Vacuum Mixers
IMC’s Vacuum Reactors have accomplished numerous mixing challenges from application to application. Such us adhesives requiring complete deaeration to produce a free and clear chemical bond. Or deoxidation to prevent decomposition of sensitive elements to avoid unwanted bacterial growth. Mixing with IMC’s Reactors under vacuum conditions will have a significant impact on your end-product performance.
The IMC DSL Reactor under vacuum conditions allows the introduction of powders and liquids into a low or medium viscosity batch, accelerating the mix cycle, by wetting thoroughly specifically low-surface energy powders rapidly.
The model shown includes a reactor, sanitary finish, vacuum, flanged and dished top and bottom, 75 psig heating jacket,350 ˚F insulation, Variable Low Speed Agitator, High Efficiency Bottom Turbine
This Reactor is ideal for homogenizing, emulsifying, dispersion, and particle size reduction. Common applications include, gelatin compounds, gels, collagen solutions, antacids, dental composites, and biopolymers.
